Conditions We Treat in Lake Forest

You have been working around it. You take the stairs slower, you sleep on one side now, you decide what you will do tomorrow based on how it feels tonight. Nobody would call that an emergency, which is exactly why it has gone on this long. Find what is happening to you in the list below. We treat orthopedic problems from the neck down to the foot and ankle, and we also carry a neurological caseload, including Parkinson's disease and recovery after a stroke, which is not something every studio in Lake Forest can say. Illinois is a direct access state, so most people can start without a physician referral, and we verify your specific insurance benefits before your first visit so there is no guessing about cost.

02The Difference

We treat the cause, not just the symptom.

Whatever brought you here, the approach is the same. You will not be handed to an aide or shared across a busy gym floor. Your session is one on one, and the licensed therapist who evaluates you is the therapist who treats you, which matters more than it sounds, because the plan changes as your body responds and the person changing it is the person watching you move. We work with orthopedic problems and with a neurological caseload, so a knee that will not straighten and a walking pattern that changed after a stroke are both familiar ground. When your case calls for it, the plan can bring in Pilates rehabilitation, massage or a recovery modality without sending you across town. We set baselines at your evaluation and re-test them as you go, so you can see whether it is working instead of guessing.
