TECAR Therapy in Lake Forest
At Wellness Solutions Physical Therapy, our Winback TECAR system combines advanced radiofrequency technology with hands-on therapeutic techniques to support recovery, manage discomfort, improve mobility, and promote overall wellness.
Whether you are recovering from surgery, managing an orthopedic injury, experiencing ongoing pain, or exploring wellness treatments, we tailor care to your needs.

What Is Winback TECAR Therapy?
TECAR stands for Transfer of Energy Capacitive and Resistive. Winback uses controlled radiofrequency energy through specialized applicators to produce therapeutic warming and support local circulation, muscle relaxation, and tissue mobility. Clinicians can integrate it with manual therapy, massage, and rehabilitation exercises.
At Wellness Solutions, we use Winback for both physical therapy rehabilitation and aesthetic wellness services. Treatment suitability is assessed individually.
Physical Therapy Rehabilitation
Winback can complement individualized rehabilitation for postoperative recovery, orthopedic injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal discomfort.
Post-Operative Rehabilitation
Supports circulation, tissue mobility, and comfort as patients gradually return to movement after surgery.
Applications may include stiffness following joint replacement and rehabilitation after ACL reconstruction. Use only when appropriate for the healing stage, surgical precautions, and medical clearance.
Orthopedic Injuries
For sprains, tendon-related problems, muscle strains, and joint stiffness, Winback can complement exercise and hands-on therapy to support local circulation, tissue mobility, and movement comfort.
Examples include ankle sprains and tendon rehabilitation.
Chronic Pain Management
For persistent lower back pain, muscle tension, and other musculoskeletal discomfort, Winback may be incorporated into a broader treatment plan alongside manual therapy and exercise.
For fibromyalgia, suitability should be assessed individually.
Where to go next.

Manual Therapy
Skilled hands-on work that frees a stiff joint and a guarded muscle so motion comes back.

Pre and Post Surgery
Go into surgery stronger, and come out of it with the plan already written.

Chronic Pain
Care for pain that has outlasted the injury, paced around how you actually live.
