About

Jen Carpenter has been practicing as a PTA since 2005. Born and raised in Illinois; she graduated from the PTA program at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines.

Her training, skills, clinical, and personal experiences excel in working with those living with chronic conditions and pain, spinal dysfunction, traumatic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, foot and ankle dysfunction, athletes, movement, and neurological disorders, in addition to her added knowledge of men’s and women’s health challenges, and working with breast cancer patients.

The basis of her wellness management is rooted in “Functional Applied Science” utilizing the methods of The Gray Institute with Triplanar movement, stretching, stabilization, and a variety of manual therapy techniques including specialized joint and soft tissue mobilization and stimulation, taping, and muscle energy techniques.

She spends her free time on adventures with her kids, dear friends, and her big Italian and Irish family.
