Wellness Solutions Physical Therapy

Amanda Ashbeck

Pilates Instructor · Social Media Marketing Manager

Amanda Ashbeck teaches Pilates at Wellness Solutions, and she trained under Pilates Artistry. Pilates is not a warm up for the real work here. It is the real work: a system of controlled, precise movement that builds strength from the deep muscles outward, restores range that a stiff body has quietly given up, and teaches you to move without bracing against pain. Amanda coaches that system the way it is meant to be coached, one person at a time, watching how you actually move rather than counting reps at you. If you have never touched a reformer, that is fine. Sessions start where you are, and the cueing is plain enough that you can follow it on the first visit and repeat it at home. Amanda is also the social media marketing manager for Wellness Solutions, so a good deal of what you see from the studio online comes from her. She is a Pilates instructor rather than a physical therapist, and that distinction is what makes this building work: a licensed physical therapy plan of care and skilled Pilates instruction sit under one roof, so moving between them never means starting over somewhere new.

Core Values

What guides the work.

Pilates rewards honesty about where a body actually is today, and Amanda's sessions are built on that. No pushing through a movement that is not ready. No generic sequence handed out because it filled the hour. You are watched while you move, corrected while the correction still matters, and progressed only once the control is genuinely there.

The same standard runs across the studio. Care is one to one, and the person who assesses your movement is the person who works on it with you. If your Pilates sits inside a physical therapy plan of care, it is coordinated with the licensed physical therapist directing that plan rather than treated as a separate hobby. And if you are here purely to get stronger and move better, that is a complete reason to be here. Either way you will know what you are working toward, and why the exercise in front of you is the one you were given.
