The Superhuman Protocol in Lake Forest

PEMF mat, then the bike with oxygen, then red light. One sequence, run the same way every time, at our Lake Forest studio. A wellness session, not a medical treatment.

01What It Is

What is the Superhuman Protocol?

Most recovery marketing asks you to believe something before it tells you what happens. Let us do it the other way around. A wellness service run as stations in a fixed order: PEMF, then exercise with oxygen, then red light. First you lie on a mat that produces pulsed electromagnetic fields. Then you get on a stationary bike and pedal at an easy, conversational pace while breathing oxygen-enriched air through a mask. Then you finish on the red light bed. Same order, every time, guided by someone from our team the first time through so you are not guessing at settings. That is the entire service. There is no needle, no injection, no supplement and nothing you swallow, and you keep your clothes on for all of it.

The protocol's own framing is that it reintroduces magnetism, oxygen and light to the body, and that running them in that sequence is the point. We will pass that framing along, because it is the framing the protocol arrives with, but we are not going to dress it up as clinical fact. This is a wellness service and not a medical treatment. We do not offer it as therapy for any named condition, we make no claim that it treats, cures, prevents or diagnoses anything, and it is not a substitute for care from your physician or from a licensed physical therapist. What clients generally describe afterward is feeling loosened up and a little more awake, which is roughly what an easy spin and a warm quiet room tend to do to a person. If that sounds worth an hour of your week, it is a good addition. If you were hoping for something bigger than that, we would rather you hear the limits from us up front than find out later. When pain or an injury is the actual reason you are looking, book an evaluation first. Illinois is a direct access state, so most people can start without a physician referral, and we check your insurance benefits before your first visit so nothing is a surprise.

02Who It's For

Who it's for.

This one attracts a specific kind of person: someone who already moves, and who wants the recovery half of the week to be as scheduled as the training half. See if you recognise yourself here.

01

Athletes and weekend athletes

You train and you compete, and recovery is the part of the week you keep meaning to get to. This gives you a standing reason to do something restorative between hard efforts, with no decisions to make once you are here. The bike stage is genuine light exercise, so plan it around your training rather than on top of your heaviest day.

02

Clients already in a plan of care

You come to us for physical therapy, Pilates, massage, or some mix of the three. Ask your therapist whether adding the protocol on your treatment days makes sense for what you are currently working on. Sometimes the honest answer is not yet, and if that is the case we will tell you so rather than take the booking.

03

People who want structure, not another decision

A lot of the appeal here is that the sequence is fixed. You do not choose, you do not improvise, and you do not have to go read anything first. You arrive, you move through the stations in order with someone keeping you on track, and then you go on with your day.

03What To Expect

What to expect at our Lake Forest studio.

The sequence is the same for everyone, so once you have done it once you know exactly what your visit looks like. Here is the run of it.

01

Tell us your history first

Before you book, tell us anything relevant in your health history: heart or lung conditions, blood pressure issues, pregnancy, or an implanted device such as a pacemaker. The middle stage is real exercise on a bike and the first stage is a real electromagnetic field, so this is not a formality. If there is any doubt at all, check with your physician before your first session.

02

PEMF, then the bike, then red light

You start lying on the PEMF mat, doing nothing at all. From there you move to the stationary bike, where you pedal at an easy pace while breathing oxygen-enriched air through a mask. You finish on the red light bed. Someone from our team walks you through each station the first time so you are not fiddling with settings or wondering when to move on.

03

Judge it over a routine, not one visit

People who get something out of this tend to come on a regular rhythm rather than dropping in occasionally, because a routine is far easier to evaluate than a single visit. Watch the plain markers: how you sleep, how you feel the day after a hard session, whether you actually want to come back. If it is not earning its place, drop it. We will not chase you about it.

Good to know

Wear something you can pedal in and expect to warm up on the bike stage, because that part is genuine light exercise rather than a passive treatment. The components used in the protocol here, the PEMF mat, exercise with oxygen on the bike and the red light bed, are all included in the Unlimited Wellness Membership at $499 a month, which covers 30 wellness service sessions. If you plan to come regularly, ask the front desk whether the membership is the cheaper route for you.

Our Approach
As we run it here, the Superhuman Protocol is a wellness service made of stations you move through in a fixed order: PEMF, then exercise with oxygen on the bike, then red light.
