After working in a clinical physical therapy environment for several years, Tina started Wellness Solutions in 2006 to offer patients a higher level of hands-on, personal care and alternative therapies that would complement traditional medicine. She has worked with patients for over 15 years, designing therapy treatment plans that emphasize a practical and functional approach to rehabilitation. Tina is currently receiving additional Pilates training and certification at the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI).
Tina is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and has a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois - Chicago. She specializes in John Barnes method of Myofacial Release, Balanced Body Pilates and Core Align, and Muscle Energy Technique for the spine and has extensive experience using Pilates as a therapeutic exercise in rehabilitation.
Emily was recently awarded a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She has experience in inpatient and outpatient care in various hospitals and clinics. She joined Wellness Solutions in 2015 to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and return to the everyday activities and sports they enjoy. Emily also has a degree in biology and a strong interest in nutrition. Emily is currently receiving Pilates training and certification at The Australian Pysiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI).
Jan specializes in pain and tension management and uses an adaptive therapeutic style combining multiple modalities to get the best possible results. He incorporates the following styles in his massage treatments: Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy Massage, Spiral Synergy, Myofascial Release, Pressure Sensitivity Techniques, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Chair Massage.
Trained by the Wellness and Massage Training Institute, Jan has been a licensed message therapist since 2007 and is certified in prenatal, infant and geriatric massage. He uses the versatility of massage to decrease stressors and improve a client's quality of life; an important part of a healthy mind, body and spirit.
Stephen has certification in AFFA Mat Science and Peak Pilates Comprehensive. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University where he specialized in Behavior Modification and Humanistic Psychology.
His philosophy is to teach the body in front of him and that Pilates is for everyone, from the de-conditioned to the elite athlete. Stephen enjoys progressing clients in a safe and effective manner linking exercises intelligently with purpose, rhythm and fluidity. He focuses on uniform development, correcting and conditioning the body, mind and spirit through movement.
