Sometimes the thyroid gland does not produce sufficient amounts of hormones, if this becomes chronic it can become a condition known as hypothyroidism. What many people do not understand is that our hormones are like mini communicators giving orders to our bodies to do certain things. Most of the time, the cells in our body ignore the hormone, but when the right connection is made, the cell will begin to do what the hormone is pushing it to do. The message could be many various things, but normally the purpose is to keep the body functioning and in balance.

Hypothyroidism is something most people do not notice immediately. There are subtle signs such as weight gain or fatigue. Many people simply ignore these as they think it is age-related or other lifestyle choices. Other symptoms of hypothyroidism include:  constipation, dry skin, puffy face, hoarseness, muscle weakness, slowed heart rate, elevated blood cholesterol levels, heavier than normal or irregular menstrual periods, depression, impaired memory, increased sensitivity to cold, thinning hair, pain, joint & muscles stiffness, along with fatigue and weight gain. When people do not get their hypothyroidism treated, all of these possible symptoms may increase over time, making the thyroid gland enlarged.

I have included a Thyroid Juice Recipe to aid in the inflammation and regulation of your thyroid in a natural and toxin-free way. The combination of juices and spices mixed together in this recipe are abundant in vitamins too.
