As I continue my personal journey to rid my home of toxins and chemicals in general, I felt it was a good idea to share with readers the reason everyone should consider the safest way to dry clean clothes in the home. I personally love using wool dryer balls with a hint of my favorite Young Living essential oils to add in a simple, clean and safe why to add an all natural scent and remove static cling without the use of any harsh toxins.

It is slowly becoming common knowledge that most dryer sheets on the market are loaded with toxic chemicals that may cause hormone imbalance, neurotoxicity, respiratory problems and even cancer. The chemicals to absolutely avoid while getting rid of static in your laundry include Benzyl Acetate, Benzyl Alcohol, Chloroform and Linalool. Not only are these chemicals a poor choice for good health when they come in contact with your skin, they also emit chemicals into the air when heated.

While some people love the fresh scent of dryer sheets and worry they may miss out on the scent, they need not worry. Simply use hypoallergenic natural wool dryer balls with a few drops of essential oils to achieve a nice finish to the laundry. For those who prefer a fragrance free finish, using the dryer balls on their own will accomplish this as well. I have highlighted some of the benefits for using these eco-friendly wool dryer balls in your home below.

Benefits of Wool Dryer Balls

Shortens Dry Time
