When the seasons change we often look at our homes and want to deep clean and get everything in order. Using all natural products to clean our homes is very important as we absorb so much through our feet and skin in general. A typical person is exposed to more than 300 chemicals in a day. Why not take control of your home, and start switching to natural cleaners instead of the harsh chemicals often found in commercial cleaners?
Here are two simple DIY cleaning recipes to make your wood floors sparkle and also a deep clean recipe to work on those tough areas such as sinks, bathtubs and tile floors. If you have some favorite, natural and toxin-free ways to clean, please share in my comments section.
DIY Wood Floor Cleaner
16 oz glass spray bottle or bowl
1 capful of Young Living Thieves Household Cleaner
10 drops Thieves essential oil
5 drops Lemon or Orange essential oil
1 teaspoon White Vinegar
1 tablespoon Castile soap
Mix the list of ingredients together. Fill the rest of the spray bottle with water or add water to your glass bowl. Apply cleaner to wood floor and wipe clean.
Deep Clean Scrubbing Solution
Glass Jar (a large Mason jar would work well)
1 capful of Thieves Household Cleaner
