I like to share my DIY recipes with everyone as I am hoping to help people clear the toxins out of their daily beauty routines. I really enjoy making my own facial toner and moisturizer as it is so easy to vary the ingredients if I am experiencing dry or oily skin based on the season and as well as my workout routines. Here are two favorites for you to try. Please comment below if you have any adaptations or ways you like to incorporate non-toxic beauty products into your life.
Cheers to Good Health!
DIY Facial Toner
Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
5-10 drops Young Living Lavender essential oil (Great for all skin types)
5-10 drops Young Living Frankincense essential oil (Great for acne, wrinkles or mature skin)
One small glass bottle
Simply mix 1/3 apple cider vinegar with 1/3 filtered water and add in the essential oils of your choice. I recommend adding 5-10 drops of essential oils per 2 ounces of toner mixture.
Store custom toner mixture at room temperature in the glass bottle.
Use toner 2x per day. Once in the morning and also right before bed.
1/4 cup Coconut Oil
12 drops Young Living Orange essential oil
12 drops Young Living Lavender essential oil
12 drops Melrose Young Living essential oil
8 drops Ylang Ylang Young Living essential oil
Start by adding coconut oil to a glass container — a small mason jar works well.
Mix in all of the essential oils and stir until the mixture is well blended.
Use a tiny amount (pea-sized) on your face morning and night. Remember, a very little goes a long way.
