Coconut Oil works wonders as a hair mask conditioner or hair serum for flyaway strands. For mask, apply coconut oil in small amount to wet hair and let sit. Shampoo as usual to remove oil. For serum, use penny amount for short hair and nickel amount for long hair. Smooth on fingertips and apply to dry hair for a shiny, smooth finish.
Eye Makeup Remover, Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream & Eyelash Growth
Coconut Oil doubles as a brilliant eye makeup remover and an anti-wrinkle eye cream. Simply swipe a small amount across eyelids to remove mascara and eye shadow. To minimize fine lines dab coconut oil around each eye. An added benefit, Coconut oil may improve the strength and length of you lashes too!
Face Exfoliator & Body Scrub
Coconut Oil weekly to exfoliate your face and body. Simply apply generously to both face and body. Use a wet washcloth to rub off and you will be left with smooth, moisturized skin.
Acne Treatment & Wound Care
Coconut Oil contains lauric acid which may naturally help keep way bacteria which causes acne and these acids also may have anti-inflammatory effects to provide comfort for wound care.
DIY Coconut Oil Lip Balm
2 Tbs. Coconut Oil
2 Tbs. Beeswax
1 Tbs. Shea Butter
1/2 tsp. Red or Rose Mica Powder
2-3 drops Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil
Place Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter and Powder in a glass jar. Place jar into a pot of simmering hot water until it melts and stir. Mix well and add 2-3 drops of Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil. Put mixture into small tin or pot and let cool. Be sure to secure the top of your container to keep the lip balm fresh. 6 Tbs. Coconut Oil
6 Tbs. Baking Soda
25 drops Young Living Essential Oils (Spearmint, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Grapefruit) Select one that appeals to you.
1 tsp. Stevia (add more if you prefer sweeter flavor)
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Pour into Mason Jar & seal it until ready to use. Keep a small spoon or even a popsicle stick nearby to put toothpaste on your toothbrush.
Moisturizer and Shaving Cream
Use Coconut Oil for a skin conditioner for both cracked feet and dry hands and cuticles. Coconut may also increase nail growth in hands and feet. Coconut Oil is perfect for shaving legs and soothing razor burn. Simply replace traditional shaving cream and notice the supple difference post shave.
Makeup Brush Cleaner and Foundation Primer
Keep your makeup brushes clean by simply rubbing a small amount of Coconut Oil onto your makeup brushes and rinsing thoroughly with water. Pat the brushes dry with a soft towel.
Makeup will stay and go on with ease if you take pea size amount of Coconut Oil and apply gently on your face for a natural foundation primer.
